University project
Problem:
Most Polish editions of Ubu Roi wrap the play in conventional, academic design, flattening the very anarchy and grotesque humor that make the text what it is.
Solution:
I took an existing typeface and reworked it, cutting holes into the letterforms and arranging them as if falling apart across the pages — just like Ubu's kingdom.
Result:
The result is a book where the reader physically experiences the collapse: turning pages means watching the text and Ubu's rule — fall apart in real time.
